Random SPW reviews: Alexis Lee vs Jane Foo (2018)
What I thought was funny was the fact that babyface Jane was in full heel mode in her challenge video to Alexis, haha.

Both wrestlers come out to cheers — Ref Sodiq gets some love from the crowd with chants of “TIKO PEK!” when he examines their gear. Both lock-ups and starts to exchange holds, with Alexis teasing a chop at the corner. Alexis eventually gets the advantage and delivers a series of snapmares and a surfboard stretch. Jane hulks up and breaks the hold. Both exchange a headlock takedown and start to run the ropes, with Alexis hitting a shoulder block and Jane hitting a back elbow, clothesline and a hip toss to send the Alexis out of the ring. The Lion City Hit Girls stalls for time to recover. Back in the ring Alexis trips Jane and hits a bodyslam for a two count. She attempts another pin after two clotheslines for another pin attempt. Jane replies with an impactful Russian Leg Sweep (one of Eurasian Dragon’s signature moves) at 7:34 for a two count. Jane tries and hits an interesting facebuster-to-legdrop move at 8:19 for a two count. Both starts to exchange strikes and elbows and starts to run the ropes again. Another clothesline by Alexis and the spear outta nowhere gets the job done for the veteran.
Alexis Lee defeats Jane Foo at 9:50 via pin [***]
A good match with a great singles debut by Jane. It had a clear layout and told a simple but effective story of the experienced veteran versus the enthusiastic upstart. With Jane a natural babyface, it was nice to see Alexis displaying some heelish moves. Both displayed good chemistry with each other and it showed with the smooth execution of the moves. As I mentioned before they should face each other regular in some sort of a storyline — it can go into intense bitter rivalry or end up teaming up as a tag team taking on overseas teams. Either way I believe the atmosphere will be great with both being very over with the crowd.
That’s all for now, thanks for reading!
